Putting the bedsprings into the kiln was very exciting especially with the glass trying to slump the glass onto the springs. For the dramatic effect I decided to have some springs popping out of the glass. I took more then one go to get it just right. Hanging it on the wall was a large challenge… I wanted the glass to look like its floating in front of the bed springs…very happy with the final piece.
